HR Manager
Sonia Chapin brings more than 25 years of human resources expertise to the INFINITI HR leadership team, overseeing the internal human resources function. With a broad experience as an HR generalist, Sonia specializes in recruitment, onboarding, training, compliance, compensation design, and more.
Sonia has supported clients across the United States and in all industries with a focus on Federal contractors. Prior to joining INFINITI HR, Sonia worked at Office Depot, where she managed associate relations, development, recruitment, and training for over 2,500 employees across 75+ locations. At Berkshire Associates, she successfully managed HR consulting teams supporting Fortune 500 clients, increased client retention by developing departmental standard operating procedures, monitored revenue generation and expenses, and managed department staffing and budget to support year-over-year growth.
Sonia holds three industry-leading certifications: SHRM-Senior Certified Professional, HRCI's Senior Professional in Human Resources, and World at Work’s Certified Compensation Professional. She is an active contributor to the HR community, frequently speaking at industry events and serving as a peer reviewer with World at Work. Sonia is passionate about giving back to the community and is involved in several volunteer initiatives. She resides in Howard County, Maryland and enjoys reading, motorcycling, and spending time with her husband and two sons when she’s not championing the latest HR strategies.
